Peer Editing

Today in class when we did peer editing on our visual rhetoric assignment, I actually learned quite a bit. I learned what to look for when grading an essay and actually, in return, learned what to look for myself to better my paper. The students' papers who I graded at some very valid and good ideas. There was a few kinks in each of them, but it was only the rough draft. Also, by reading other peoples' papers, I picked up a few ideas for my own paper (not cheating but ways to reword certain things or organize my ideas into a more successful way). Overall, I thought today's experience in peer editing was very helpful and a great learning experience.

I'm so glad the peer editing helped. It sounds like you were able to take a few of your classmate's strategies and use them to help evolve your own writing. That's what I was hoping for!
